The vision for my private practice began in 2009, before I even began working towards a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. God had placed on my heart to help people navigate life’s most challenging roads. The journey since then has been quite an adventure, one that led me to open The Compass Center For Wellness, PLLC in June 2019. Meeting people 'where they are' was birthed out of my own personal life trials. I know the darkness and hopelessness that comes with divorce and the tremendous challenges of being a single mom. At 30, I was unexpectedly served with divorce papers. I felt depressed, lonely and hopeless, while still trying to raise a 4 year-old and 7 month old daughters. After having to return home to live with my parents, I lost my identity.

Through the depression and feelings of hopelessness, I began to have small breakthroughs! I can attest to the light I found by experiencing freedom in Christ. I help guide single parents, marriages, blended families, and partners affected by betrayal and infidelity. I guide you towards freedom in Christ. At The Compass Center for Wellness, PLLC, the client and therapist relationship is essential to the therapeutic process. My approach is to always be supportive and collaborative. My style is warm, empathic, and non-judgmental while remaining honest and straightforward.
